This training is for agencies and individuals interested in developing scattered site rental units or expanding their knowledge in this field, particularly in rural areas. Facilitated by Harsany & Associates, this training is for practitioners with a range of experience. We will cover an array of topics related to business planning for housing development such as timing and capacity; site and neighborhood selection; feasibility analysis; tenant selection and needs; marketing; the production of marketable, durable, affordable, and maintainable units; financial analysis, and property/asset management. In addition to lecture and discussion, there will be some group exercises and case studies.
