Book Club 2025

Interested in participating in OCDCA's Book Club this year? Starting March 3rd, we will meet every other Monday until June 9th, for a total of 8 meetings. Before the sign-up opens, we are giving members the opportunity to vote on the book they would like to read this year. Below are the nominated books:

A powerful exploration of rest as a form of resistance, particularly for those engaged in social justice and activism. Rest Is Resistance is a call to action, a battle cry, a field guide, and a manifesto for all of us who are sleep-deprived, searching for justice, and longing to be liberated from Grind Culture.

Climate Resilience advocates for place-based, community-led projects focused on: Relationship Repair, Ecological Restoration, Economic Regeneration, Collective Care, Community Adaptation, Cultural Strategy, and People Power. Each section offers practical blueprints for readers to apply these strategies in their own communities.

All About Love reveals what causes a polarized society, and how to heal the divisions that cause suffering. It inspires us to instill caring, compassion, and strength in our homes, communities, and workplaces. Also explores the transformative power of love, self-care, and connection, essential for sustaining purpose-driven work.
