Join the OCDCA book club! We will read books related to community development topics of housing, food access, financial empowerment, economic development, and community engagement; place-based, urban/rural, and neighborhood issues; empathy; and leadership and other professional development skills useful to community developers.
This is a low commitment club meaning that you can come and go from the club per your interest in a particular book. You do not need to be an OCDCA member to participate in the book club.
Our tenth book as chosen by members who attended the most recent book club is Love Where You Live: Creating Emotionally Engaging Places by Peter Kageyama
When registering, please be sure to suggest any books you’d like considered for future book clubs. View the list of all past OCDCA Book Club book recommendations.
